Loft Angle
The loft angle refers to the angle formed between the club face and the shaft of the golf club.

Understanding loft angles is crucial in golf as it determines the height and distance of your shot, as well as which club to use for maximum success on the course. For instance, the driver, with a loft angle of 10-11 degrees, hits the ball much farther than a sand wedge with a loft angle of 54-56 degrees. Furthermore, a higher loft angle usually results in a higher shot, but not necessarily a longer one.
